Protein Domain & Functional Annotation

Analyze one protein sequence with InterProScan at EMBL-EBI. Review source-labelled signature matches, integrated InterPro annotations, coordinates and available GO/pathway context while preserving the distinction between computational annotation and experimentally demonstrated function.

Protein input

One protein sequence per analysis. Standard amino-acid alphabet only.
Fast mode runs only the NCBIfam application for a quicker family-level screen. Full mode runs all available InterProScan analyses and is more comprehensive but can take several minutes depending on EMBL-EBI queue and workload.
Required by EMBL-EBI for programmatic InterProScan jobs.
Ready for analysis.
